An inclusive primary academy in Lowestoft is seeking a Year 4 Teacher for the new academic year. The successful applicant will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, strengthen pupils’ independence and support their development during the middle years of primary education.

The Role

• Lead a Year 4 class and manage day-to-day classroom learning.

• Plan engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.

• Develop pupils’ reading fluency, writing quality and mathematical reasoning.

• Assess progress and use findings to adapt future teaching.

• Contribute to year-group planning and wider school activities.

The Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has primary classroom experience and sound curriculum knowledge.

• Can create an organised and engaging learning environment.

• Uses clear explanations and purposeful assessment.

• Works constructively with colleagues, support staff and families.
