A secondary academy in Letchworth Garden City is looking for a Spanish Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department. The school is seeking a practitioner who can deliver structured lessons, strengthen pupils’ communication skills and support examination success.
The Role
Teach Spanish across KS3–KS5, according to departmental requirements.
Develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
Prepare examination classes through targeted practice and feedback.
Use regular assessment to identify areas for improvement.
Contribute to curriculum planning and language-learning enrichment.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has strong Spanish language skills and subject knowledge.
Can explain grammar and vocabulary clearly.
Maintains high expectations and supports pupils with varied starting points.
Can take up the role at short notice.
