About the School

A well-established secondary school in Abingdon is looking for an experienced Data Manager to support the effective use of pupil information across the school. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy school community where accurate data, reliable reporting and efficient administrative systems play an important role in supporting pupils and staff.

About the Role

Working closely with senior leaders and the school administration team, you will manage pupil data and support the production of reports used for assessment, attendance and school improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining accurate pupil records and managing updates to the school database.

• Producing reports relating to pupil progress, attendance and assessment.

• Supporting data collections and reporting deadlines throughout the academic year.

• Liaising with staff to resolve data discrepancies and improve record accuracy.

• Supporting the administration of assessment information and examination data.

• Ensuring sensitive information is handled securely and in accordance with data protection requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in school data management or education administration.

• Strong knowledge of school management systems and pupil data processes.

• Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.

• A methodical approach with outstanding attention to detail.

• The ability to communicate effectively with staff at different levels.

An enhanced DBS check will be required in line with the role.
