We are recruiting a dedicated Teacher of English to join an independent school in Camden from January 2027.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about English, able to deliver engaging lessons and committed to developing pupils’ literacy, analytical thinking and confidence in communication.
📖 What You’ll Be Doing
Planning and delivering engaging English lessons.
Developing pupils’ reading, writing and critical analysis skills.
Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback.
Encouraging participation and independent learning.
Contributing to curriculum planning and wider school activities.
👤 What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong subject knowledge in English language and literature.
Effective classroom management and communication skills.
High expectations of pupil progress and behaviour.
A positive, organised and collaborative approach.
