Wayman Education is looking for an enthusiastic History Teacher to join a secondary school in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils' historical understanding, source analysis and ability to construct evidence-based arguments.

The School

The Role

  • Teach History across KS3 and KS4.

  • Plan lessons that develop chronology, historical enquiry and interpretation.

  • Support GCSE preparation and examination technique.

  • Assess progress and adapt teaching to meet pupil needs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS in History or is an ECT.

  • Has strong subject knowledge and clear communication skills.

  • Can deliver structured, engaging lessons.

  • Is committed to supporting pupils of different abilities.
