Wayman Education is looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join a secondary school in Barnsley. This role offers the opportunity to help pupils strengthen their literacy, develop analytical thinking and build confidence in English Language and Literature.

The Role

  • Teach English across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver engaging lessons in reading, writing, language and literature.

  • Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations.

  • Monitor progress and provide targeted support where required.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS in English or is an ECT.

  • Has strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.

  • Can adapt lessons to meet different learning needs.

  • Is passionate about literacy and pupil achievement.
