Wayman Education is seeking an energetic and creative Drama Teacher to join a secondary school in Nottingham. The successful candidate will help pupils develop confidence, performance skills and creative expression in a supportive learning environment.

The School

The school encourages creativity, participation and a broad educational experience, with opportunities for pupils to develop their talents beyond the classroom.

The Role

  • Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE where appropriate.

  • Plan practical lessons that develop performance, devising and evaluation skills.

  • Support productions and extracurricular drama activities.

  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS in Drama or a related subject, or is an ECT.

  • Has strong practical and theoretical subject knowledge.

  • Can engage pupils and build confidence.

  • Is enthusiastic about enrichment and performance opportunities.
