Wayman Education is looking for a committed History Teacher to join a secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent. The successful candidate will inspire pupils to explore the past, question historical interpretations and develop their analytical skills.

The School

The Role

  • Teach History across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver engaging lessons using historical sources and evidence.

  • Prepare pupils for GCSE examinations.

  • Assess progress and adapt teaching to support achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS in History or is an ECT.

  • Has excellent subject knowledge and lesson-planning skills.

  • Can engage pupils through discussion, enquiry and debate.

  • Is committed to high expectations and inclusive teaching.
