Wayman Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher for a secondary school in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner to inspire pupils, promote healthy lifestyles and contribute to a thriving Physical Education department.

The School

The school has high expectations for pupil achievement and offers a supportive environment where staff are encouraged to develop professionally.

The Role

  • Teach PE across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 provision.

  • Plan engaging practical and theoretical lessons.

  • Promote teamwork, resilience and participation in sport.

  • Contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures and sporting events.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS or is an ECT in Physical Education.

  • Has strong subject knowledge and effective behaviour management.

  • Can motivate pupils of different abilities.

  • Is willing to contribute to the wider sporting life of the school.
