Salary: Dependent on experience and the applicable pay scale
A specialist primary setting in Milton Keynes is seeking a SEND Teacher to support pupils with a range of additional learning needs. The successful candidate will provide carefully structured teaching, work towards individual learning goals and collaborate with families and support professionals.
The Role
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for primary-aged pupils with SEND.
Set clear, achievable learning goals and review progress regularly.
Adapt communication, resources and teaching approaches to individual needs.
Work closely with teaching assistants and relevant specialists.
Support pupils’ communication, independence, social development and wellbeing.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews of pupil progress.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience or a strong interest in SEND education.
Can differentiate learning and respond flexibly to individual needs.
Demonstrates patience, resilience and strong teamwork.

The setting prioritises individual progress, inclusive practice and close collaboration between teaching staff, families and relevant professionals.
