A small primary school in Hadleigh is seeking a teacher for a mixed Year 3/4 class. The successful candidate will need to organise learning across two year groups while ensuring pupils receive appropriate challenge, support and continuity.
The Role
Teach a mixed Year 3/4 class across the primary curriculum.
Plan differentiated lessons that address the objectives for both year groups.
Develop literacy, mathematical reasoning and independent learning.
Use assessment to monitor progress and identify gaps in understanding.
Coordinate with support staff to provide targeted classroom assistance.
Contribute to whole-school activities and curriculum planning.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience or confidence with mixed-age teaching.
Can manage differentiated planning and classroom routines.
Is adaptable, organised and committed to every pupil’s progress.
