A secondary school in Kendal is seeking a PE Teacher who can deliver practical lessons and encourage participation in a wide range of physical activities. The role includes supporting pupils’ development in fitness, teamwork and sporting technique.

The Role

  • Teach PE across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver practical activities across a range of sports.

  • Develop pupils’ understanding of fitness, performance and healthy lifestyles.

  • Assess practical progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Contribute to extracurricular clubs and sporting events as required.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong practical PE knowledge.

  • Can manage lessons safely and engage pupils of different abilities.

  • Demonstrates effective organisation and behaviour management.
