A secondary school in Altrincham is seeking a Geography Teacher to cover a period of maternity leave beginning in January 2027. The role requires someone who can deliver a clear curriculum and support pupils preparing for GCSE Geography.

The Role

  • Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4.

  • Cover physical geography, human geography and environmental change.

  • Develop map skills, data interpretation and geographical enquiry.

  • Prepare pupils for examinations through regular practice and feedback.

  • Track progress and support pupils who need additional guidance.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong Geography subject knowledge.

  • Can make lessons engaging through case studies and practical activities.

  • Is organised and confident managing classes.
