The Role
A high-performing secondary school in Barking & Dagenham is looking for a hands-on DT Technician to join its team as soon as possible.
Youโll support teachers with practical lessons, prepare equipment and materials, and help keep the workshops safe and ready for use.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing resources for DT lessons.
Maintaining and organising tools and equipment.
Checking machinery and reporting faults.
Keeping workspaces clean and tidy.
Managing materials and stock.
Following health and safety procedures.
About You
Youโll be practical, reliable and well organised. Previous experience in a DT department or workshop would be an advantage, and you should be comfortable working independently and supporting teaching staff.
