Contract: Full-time, fixed-term for two terms

Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience
A secondary school in Stowmarket is seeking a Spanish Teacher for a two-term placement beginning in January 2027. The school requires a teacher who can maintain curriculum continuity and help pupils develop confidence across all four language skills.
The Role
Teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4.
Plan lessons that balance vocabulary acquisition, grammar and communication.
Develop pupils’ spoken fluency and written accuracy.
Prepare examination groups through regular practice and targeted revision.
Assess progress and provide clear feedback.
Work with the MFL department to ensure consistent curriculum delivery.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has secure Spanish language knowledge.
Can engage pupils through structured and interactive lessons.
Is confident adapting resources to different learning needs.
