Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

A secondary academy in Wisbech is looking to appoint a PE Teacher who can deliver a broad and inclusive physical education curriculum. The successful candidate will encourage participation, develop practical sporting skills and help pupils understand the importance of fitness, teamwork and personal development.

The Role

  • Teach PE across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver practical lessons across a range of sports and physical activities.

  • Teach relevant theoretical content where required.

  • Assess pupils’ performance and provide constructive feedback.

  • Support extracurricular sport, fixtures and enrichment opportunities.

  • Ensure practical activities are delivered safely and inclusively.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong practical PE knowledge and effective behaviour-management skills.

  • Can motivate pupils with different sporting abilities and interests.

  • Is organised, adaptable and committed to pupil participation.

The academy promotes active lifestyles, teamwork and positive pupil engagement. The successful candidate will join a department focused on developing confidence and practical skills.
