The School

We are seeking Computer Science Teachers interested in opportunities within forward-thinking secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent. These schools aim to equip pupils with the digital knowledge, problem-solving skills and technical understanding needed for further study and future careers.

The Role

  • Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities where available.

  • Deliver lessons covering programming, algorithms and computational thinking.

  • Develop pupils' practical coding and problem-solving skills.

  • Support GCSE and, where applicable, A-Level examination preparation.

  • Assess pupil progress and provide targeted feedback.

  • Encourage responsible, confident and creative use of technology.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS and has relevant Computer Science teaching experience.

  • Has strong knowledge of programming and computing principles.

  • Can make technical concepts accessible to pupils.

  • Demonstrates effective classroom management.

  • Is confident using digital tools to support learning.

  • Is passionate about developing pupils' digital skills.

Salary

Salary will depend on the specific opportunity, qualifications and teaching experience.
