Wayman Education is looking to hear from an enthusiastic English Teacher interested in a new opportunity in Tamworth. The Role

• Deliver English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Teach a range of literary texts and develop pupils' English Language skills.

• Build pupils' confidence in reading, writing, analysis and extended responses.

• Prepare pupils for GCSE assessments and examinations.

• Use assessment information to identify learning needs and plan next steps.

• Adapt teaching to support pupils with different abilities.

• Contribute to department planning and the wider life of the school.

• Holds QTS and a relevant English qualification.

• Has strong knowledge of English Language and Literature.

• Can deliver engaging lessons that develop literacy and critical thinking.

• Demonstrates effective behaviour management.

• Is confident assessing written work and providing useful feedback.

• Is committed to high standards and supporting every pupil's progress.

The indicative salary is MPS/UPS, depending on experience and the employing school's arrangements.
