Wayman Education is seeking a committed Health and Social Care Teacher interested in exploring a new opportunity in Redditch. The Role

• Deliver Health and Social Care lessons at the relevant key stages.

• Teach topics relating to human development, health, wellbeing and care provision.

• Support pupils with coursework, assignments and examination preparation where applicable.

• Develop pupils' research, evaluation and written communication skills.

• Use practical examples and case studies to make learning relevant.

• Monitor progress and provide clear feedback.

• Support pupils in understanding progression routes into further education and related careers.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS and a relevant Health and Social Care, health-related or vocational teaching qualification.

• Has appropriate subject knowledge for the qualification being taught.

• Can explain course content clearly and relate it to real-world situations.

• Understands assessment requirements and supports pupils with coursework where relevant.

• Demonstrates effective classroom management and organisation.

• Is committed to supporting pupils' academic and vocational progression.

Salary

The indicative salary is MPS/UPS, depending on experience, qualifications and the employing school's arrangements.
