About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join a secondary school in Colchester at the earliest opportunity. This is an exciting position for someone who is passionate about Chemistry and enjoys helping students understand the principles that explain the materials, reactions and processes they encounter in everyday life.

The successful candidate will teach Chemistry within the school's Science curriculum, with responsibility for delivering engaging lessons across the relevant key stages. The precise teaching allocation will depend on the school's timetable and the successful applicant's experience.

You will be expected to explain complex scientific ideas clearly, develop pupils' understanding of chemical equations and calculations, and encourage accurate scientific reasoning. Experience and Qualifications

• Chemistry Teacher with strong subject knowledge.

• Understanding of assessment, examination preparation and differentiated teaching.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Commitment to safeguarding and legal eligibility to work in the UK.
