About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their successful secondary school in Billericay as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who is passionate about Science and eager to help students develop their scientific understanding, practical skills and curiosity about the world around them.

The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that cover Biology, Chemistry and Physics in accordance with the school's curriculum. You will be expected to plan carefully structured lessons, differentiate learning activities to accommodate a range of abilities and use regular assessment to monitor progress and identify areas where additional support may be required.

The Science department benefits from access to specialist laboratories, practical equipment and a range of teaching resources designed to make learning both engaging and challenging. You will work alongside experienced colleagues who value collaboration, share effective teaching strategies and are committed to maintaining high standards throughout the department.

This position would suit an experienced Science Teacher looking for a new challenge, as well as an Early Career Teacher seeking to develop their classroom practice within a supportive environment. Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified Science Teacher with the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4.

• Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

• QTS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Ability to plan differentiated lessons and assess student progress effectively.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

• Legal eligibility to work in the UK.
