An independent day school in Cambridge is seeking a Computer Science Teacher to support its growing digital curriculum. The school is looking for someone with strong technical knowledge who can develop pupils' programming skills and prepare older students for more advanced study.

The Role

  • Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching where appropriate.

  • Deliver programming, algorithms, data representation and computer systems.

  • Support pupils with practical projects and independent problem-solving.

  • Prepare examination classes through regular assessment and targeted feedback.

  • Encourage logical reasoning, resilience and careful debugging.

  • Contribute to computing projects and enrichment opportunities.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has secure Computer Science knowledge and practical programming experience.

  • Can stretch confident learners while supporting pupils new to coding.

  • Is interested in developing digital skills beyond the classroom.
