Salary/Hours: £160–£250 per day, dependent on experience | Monday–Friday

Wayman Education is seeking a motivated Health & Social Care Teacher to join a secondary school in Redditch. This role is suited to a teacher who can connect vocational learning with real-world situations and help pupils develop the knowledge and skills needed for future study and employment.

The Role

• Teach Health & Social Care across KS4 and KS5, depending on the provision offered.

• Deliver lessons covering health, wellbeing, human development and care practices.

• Support pupils with coursework, assignments and examination preparation.

• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to improve outcomes.

• Connect theoretical learning with practical examples and careers in the care sector.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS and has relevant Health & Social Care teaching experience.

• Has a strong understanding of vocational qualifications and assessment requirements.

• Can motivate pupils and support independent learning.

• Demonstrates effective planning, organisation and classroom management.

• Is committed to helping pupils achieve their academic and career goals.

Salary

Competitive daily rate of £160–£250, dependent on qualifications and experience.
