Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, engaging Business Studies lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.

• Prepare students effectively for GCSE, A-Level, and vocational Business qualifications (BTEC/CTEC).

• Set high expectations for student achievement and behaviour, maintaining the school's Outstanding standards.

• Track and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback and targeted intervention where needed.

• Contribute to curriculum development and extra-curricular departmental initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognized UK teaching qualification (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).

• Specialist degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Proven track record of teaching Business Studies at secondary level (KS4 and KS5 experience preferred).

• Strong subject knowledge across both academic and vocational Business frameworks.

• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to complete a new check).

• Full eligibility to work in the UK.
