The Opportunity

An independent college in Camden is looking for a talented and dedicated Dance Teacher to cover maternity leave, teaching students at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.

Responsibilities

You will deliver Dance lessons to GCSE and A-Level students, helping them refine their practical skills, develop their understanding and prepare confidently for examinations.

The role will involve:

• Planning and preparing engaging lessons.

• Teaching and assessing Dance at GCSE and A-Level.

• Marking work, monitoring progress and writing reports.

• Preparing students for public examinations.

• Challenging ambitious students to achieve their best.

• Contributing to departmental planning and staff meetings.

• Keeping your subject knowledge and teaching practice up to date.

About You

You’ll be an enthusiastic, well-qualified teacher with experience teaching Dance at GCSE and A-Level. You’ll bring strong subject knowledge, high expectations and the ability to motivate students.

You should be organised, committed to excellent teaching and confident in supporting students with a range of creative ambitions.
