The Opportunity

Are you a passionate Dance Teacher who loves helping talented students develop their skills and creativity? An independent college in Camden is seeking an inspiring teacher to join its team for a part-time maternity cover, teaching Dance at GCSE and A-Level.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a specialist college known for its strong reputation in the Arts and Humanities, where creative ambition and academic achievement go hand in hand.

The Role

You will teach Dance across Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ technical ability, creative expression and understanding of the subject.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality GCSE and A-Level Dance lessons.

• Preparing students for public examinations.

• Setting, marking and assessing work.

• Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback.

• Challenging talented students to reach their full potential.

• Collaborating with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards.

About You

We’re looking for a well-qualified Dance Teacher with strong subject knowledge, a genuine passion for the performing arts and the ability to inspire students.

You should have high expectations, excellent communication skills and experience teaching Dance at GCSE and A-Level.
