Wayman Education is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher for opportunities in Cannock. This is an opportunity for a teacher who enjoys developing pupils' literacy, communication and analytical skills while building confidence in reading and writing.

The School

The Role

  • Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.

  • Plan lessons that develop reading comprehension and written expression.

  • Prepare pupils for GCSE assessments and examinations.

  • Use assessment to identify strengths and areas for development.

  • Encourage reading for pleasure and confident classroom participation.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong English subject knowledge.

  • Can deliver clear, structured and engaging lessons.

  • Uses effective behaviour management and differentiation.

  • Is committed to improving literacy and pupil outcomes.

Salary

MPS/UPS, depending on experience and the school's pay structure.
