About the Role

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial, behind-the-scenes role in ensuring that public and internal examinations run smoothly, fairly, and in strict accordance with national guidelines. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise examination rooms, ensuring strict compliance with Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations.

• Distribute question papers, stationery, and answer booklets accurately, ensuring proper collection at the end of each session.

• Monitor student behavior vigilantly throughout exams to prevent disruption, malpractice, or unfair advantages.

• Provide appropriate support to students with special access arrangements, readers, or scribes where required.

• Maintain a calm, authoritative, yet approachable presence to help ease student anxiety in the exam hall.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an exam invigilator is advantageous, though full training will be provided for candidates with the right aptitude.
