Wayman Education is looking for an enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher who can bring business concepts to life and help students understand how organisations operate in the real world. This role would suit a teacher who enjoys connecting classroom learning with current business developments and practical examples.
The School
The school aims to prepare students for further study, employment and adult life by developing their analytical skills, confidence and commercial awareness. The department values practical examples and opportunities for students to apply their knowledge.
The Role
Teach Business Studies across KS4, with KS5 teaching depending on experience.
Deliver engaging lessons covering marketing, finance, operations and business strategy.
Help students apply business theory to real-world examples and case studies.
Monitor progress and prepare students for assessments and examinations.
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has a relevant Business, Economics or related qualification.
Can explain business concepts clearly and make learning relevant.
Uses assessment effectively to identify gaps and support progress.
Is organised, commercially aware and committed to high standards.
Salary
Competitive MPS/UPS salary, dependent on experience and the school's pay structure.
