Wayman Education is seeking a passionate Music Teacher who can inspire students through performance, composition and musical appreciation. This opportunity would suit a teacher who enjoys combining practical music-making with the development of students' theoretical knowledge.

The Role
Teach Music across KS3 and KS4, with GCSE experience desirable.
Deliver lessons covering performance, composition, listening and musical theory.
Encourage students to participate in practical activities and collaborative performances.
Assess progress and provide clear feedback to support improvement.
Contribute to concerts, extracurricular clubs and wider school events where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has a relevant Music qualification and strong subject knowledge.
Can deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons.
Encourages participation from students with different musical abilities.
Is enthusiastic about developing the school's wider musical provision.
Salary
Competitive MPS/UPS salary, dependent on experience and the school's pay structure.
