Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and tracking daily student attendance and punctuality.

• Contacting parents and carers regarding unexplained absences and maintaining accurate attendance records using school management systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom).

• Analyzing attendance data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement.

• Assisting with attendance panels, meetings, and interventions for persistent absenteeism.

• Liaising with pastoral teams, heads of year, and external agencies to support student engagement and compliance with school policies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an attendance, administrative, or pastoral role (experience within a school or education setting is strongly preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for handling sensitive conversations with parents, students, and staff.

• Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in data management and Microsoft Office.
