Psychology Teacher Role
Teaching Psychology across KS4 and KS5, depending on the school's curriculum
Location: Bradford
Salary: MPS1–UPS3
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Start Date: ASAP
You will deliver Psychology lessons that help students understand human behaviour, mental processes and the factors that influence individuals and groups.
Depending on the examination specification, topics may include memory, attachment, social influence, research methods, biopsychology, psychological approaches and mental health.
Students will be encouraged to examine psychological studies, interpret research findings and evaluate different explanations of behaviour. You will help them distinguish between evidence and opinion while developing their ability to construct balanced, well-supported arguments.
At GCSE or A-Level, depending on the provision, you will prepare students for examinations through structured practice, clear explanations and regular feedback. You will also monitor progress and provide additional support where students need to strengthen their understanding.
