A well-established and successful school in Ipswich is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join its teaching team. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Science and enjoys creating lessons that encourage pupils to ask questions, investigate ideas and develop a deeper understanding of the subject.
The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering well-planned lessons that cater for a broad range of abilities. You will be expected to maintain high standards in the classroom while ensuring that lessons are accessible, purposeful and engaging. The school is particularly keen to appoint someone who can inspire students and help them develop both their academic knowledge and confidence.
You will be joining an established Science department where staff work closely together and share a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for pupils. Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Science Teacher with the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
Ability to deliver engaging and appropriately differentiated lessons
Confident classroom management and excellent communication skills
A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress
Legal ability to work within the UK
