A specialist primary provision in Bradford is seeking a dedicated teacher to work with pupils who require additional support with learning, communication and social development. The school provides a structured and nurturing environment with a strong emphasis on individual progress.

The Role

  • Specialist Teaching: Deliver personalised lessons to pupils with a range of additional needs.

  • Differentiation: Adapt curriculum content and teaching methods to individual learning profiles.

  • Communication: Support pupils' language, communication and social-development skills.

  • Behaviour: Establish predictable routines and positive behaviour strategies.

  • Individual Targets: Contribute to personalised learning plans and progress reviews.

  • Multi-Agency Working: Liaise with families, support staff and external professionals.

  • Assessment: Monitor academic, social and emotional progress.

The Candidate

  • QTS.

  • Primary teaching experience.

  • SEND experience desirable but not essential.

  • Patient and resilient approach.

  • Strong understanding of differentiated teaching.

  • Confident working with support staff.

  • Excellent communication skills.
