About the Role
As the Data Manager and ICT Officer, you will serve as the technical backbone of the school. You will be responsible for managing student data systems, ensuring information integrity, and maintaining robust IT operations that empower staff and enhance student learning outcomes across all key stages.

Key Responsibilities
Manage, develop, and maintain the school’s Management Information System (MIS) and core data databases.
Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of student tracking, assessment data, and statutory returns (such as the school census).
Provide first-to-second line ICT technical support, ensuring hardware, software, and network systems run seamlessly.
Implement fresh, efficient digital methods and automated systems to streamline data processing and reporting workflows.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership to provide actionable data insights that drive student achievement and school-wide strategic planning.
Requirements
Proven experience in data management, database administration, or ICT support—ideally within an education or secondary school setting.
Strong technical literacy, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, database management, and school MIS packages (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom).
Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous eye for data accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, accessible insights for teaching staff.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a strong commitment to progressing within educational technology and data management.
