MPS1 – UPS3 Salary
Full-time, Permanent
ASAP Start
You will teach German across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop their skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
At KS3, you will establish strong foundations in vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar, gradually encouraging students to communicate with greater independence. At GCSE, you will prepare pupils for the demands of the examination specification, developing their ability to understand authentic material and produce accurate spoken and written German.
Lessons should provide plenty of opportunities for students to practise the language rather than simply learn vocabulary in isolation. You will use conversation, listening activities, translation, written tasks and cultural content to build confidence and improve fluency.
You will assess students regularly and provide clear feedback on their accuracy, pronunciation and written work. The successful candidate will be able to adapt lessons to support students who require additional guidance while stretching those who are progressing quickly.
