About the Role

You will support practical science lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level) by preparing equipment, chemicals, and learning materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up laboratory equipment, practical demonstrations, and chemical solutions safely and accurately for scheduled lessons.

• Ensure strict adherence to CLEAPSS, COSHH, and school Health & Safety regulations across all prep rooms and laboratories.

• Maintain stock inventories, monitor equipment condition, and assist with ordering scientific supplies.

• Safely store, handle, and clear away chemicals, biological specimens, and equipment after practical sessions.

• Assist teaching staff during practical exams, open evenings, and extra-curricular STEM activities.

Candidate Requirements
