About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring pupils remain focused, safe, and productive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set work provided by subject teachers and guide pupils through learning tasks.

• Maintain a positive, orderly classroom environment by implementing the school’s behavior and reward policies.

• Assist pupils with understanding instructions and managing their independent study time.

• Collect completed work at the end of lessons and provide feedback to regular class teachers.

• Support departments with administrative duties, exam invigilation, or small-group support when not required for cover.
