Role: Primary Teacher – Year 2

Contract: 0.8 FTE, Permanent

Salary: MPS/UPS, pro rata

An outstanding community primary school in Leeds is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher on a part-time basis. The school offers a highly collaborative environment and would suit an experienced teacher or strong ECT.

The Role

  • Year 2: Teach a Year 2 class as part of a shared teaching arrangement.

  • Literacy: Develop reading, phonics and writing skills.

  • Numeracy: Deliver engaging mathematics lessons.

  • Assessment: Contribute to pupil progress and assessment planning.

The Candidate

  • QTS.

  • Primary teaching experience or successful ECT placements.

  • Good knowledge of KS1.

  • Strong phonics knowledge.

  • Excellent teamwork skills.
