A highly successful primary school in Windsor is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join its committed teaching team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic primary teacher who can create engaging learning experiences and help young pupils develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.

About the Role

The successful Year 1 Teacher will deliver a broad and engaging curriculum while creating a nurturing, structured and stimulating classroom environment. You will support pupils through an important stage of their development, helping them build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and wider learning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 1 curriculum.

• Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom.

• Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly.

• Differentiating learning to meet a range of abilities and needs.

• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement.

• Contributing to the wider life of the school.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Previous experience teaching within a primary school, ideally in KS1.

• Good knowledge of the Year 1 curriculum.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• A creative and engaging approach to teaching.

• Commitment to supporting every pupil to achieve their potential.

• A reliable, enthusiastic and professional approach.
