Our Client is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to join a successful mixed school in Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Economics and wants to help students develop a strong understanding of economic theory, current affairs and the role Economics plays within the wider world.
The successful Economics Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge students to think critically, evaluate different economic perspectives and apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations. You will be responsible for monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting your teaching to ensure that all students are appropriately supported and challenged.
The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the department to contribute to curriculum development, assessment and the creation of high-quality teaching resources. You will also be expected to contribute positively to the wider life of the school and maintain the high standards expected of both staff and students.
The school is happy to receive applications from experienced Economics Teachers, ECTs and overseas teachers with an appropriate formal teaching qualification and the legal ability to work within the UK.

Experience and Qualifications
Economics Teacher with the ability to teach effectively across the required key stages
Strong subject knowledge in Economics
A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons
Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
Ability to use assessment effectively to monitor student progress
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for Economics and the ability to relate theory to current affairs
Commitment to achieving high standards for all students
Legal ability to work within the UK
