Our Client is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a successful mixed school in Ipswich. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts while encouraging curiosity, critical thinking and practical investigation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Science Teacher who wants to work within a supportive department and contribute to a positive school environment. You will be responsible for planning effective lessons, differentiating appropriately for different abilities and assessing student progress throughout the academic year.
The successful Science Teacher will also be expected to contribute to the wider development of the department by working collaboratively with colleagues, sharing resources and contributing to curriculum planning. The school is committed to providing students with a broad and engaging Science curriculum and encourages teachers to make lessons as practical and relevant as possible.

Experience and Qualifications
Science Teacher with the ability to teach across KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE
Ability to plan and deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons
Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
Ability to differentiate effectively for students of varying abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to supporting strong academic outcomes
Legal ability to work within the UK
