The successful candidate will be expected to deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping pupils develop a secure understanding of scientific principles while encouraging curiosity, independence and a genuine interest in the subject.

Experience and Qualifications

• Science Teacher with the ability to teach effectively at KS3 and KS4

• Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum

• A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE

• Experience planning and delivering engaging practical and theoretical lessons

• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills

• Ability to differentiate teaching for pupils with different abilities and needs

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Legal ability to work within the UK
