Wayman Education is recruiting for a passionate History Teacher to join a highly successful secondary school in Nottingham.

The School

The school has a strong academic ethos and is committed to providing students with a broad and engaging curriculum. The History department is well established and provides students with opportunities to develop their knowledge and critical thinking skills.

The Role

You will teach History across KS3 and KS4, planning engaging lessons and supporting students to develop their historical knowledge, analytical skills and understanding of key events and periods.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS or equivalent

  • Strong History degree or relevant qualification

  • Experience teaching History at secondary level

  • Able to teach KS3 and KS4

  • Strong classroom management

  • Enthusiastic and committed to student progress
