About the Role
You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 Humanities and specialise in Geography, History, or RE at GCSE and A-Level.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative, challenging Humanities lessons that inspire curiosity about society, history, and the wider world.
Prepare pupils effectively for GCSE and A-Level examinations (AQA / Edexcel / OCR specifications).
Contribute to field trips, educational visits, local historical studies, and co-curricular Humanities clubs.
Continuously assess student progress, using data effectively to drive academic attainment and support diverse learning needs.

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS with a degree in Geography, History, Religious Studies, or a related Humanities discipline.
Experience: Proven experience delivering high-quality Humanities lessons across KS3–KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable).
Subject Knowledge: Deep understanding of current curriculum requirements and examination frameworks.

Compliance: Valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to process one).
