Wayman Education is seeking an enthusiastic and committed History Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Nottingham. The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and inspire students to develop a genuine interest in History.

The School

The school is an ambitious secondary school with high expectations for students and staff. It provides a supportive environment where teachers are encouraged to develop their practice and contribute to the wider life of the school.

The Role

  • Teach History across KS3 and KS4.

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons.

  • Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations.

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

  • Contribute to the wider History department and school community.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • A relevant History degree or teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching History at secondary level.

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Passionate about raising student achievement.

Salary

MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
