Wayman Education is seeking a passionate History Teacher to join an ambitious secondary school in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering engaging lessons and inspiring students to develop a strong understanding of the past.

This is a well-regarded secondary school with a strong academic focus and a positive learning environment. The school encourages students to become independent learners and provides staff with opportunities for continued professional development.

The Role

  • Teach History across KS3 and KS4.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons.

  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations.

  • Monitor progress and provide effective feedback.

  • Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS and a relevant History qualification.

  • Strong subject knowledge.

  • Experience teaching History in a secondary school.

  • Excellent classroom management.

  • Passionate about helping students achieve their potential.

Salary

MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
