Wayman Education is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join a successful secondary academy in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about technology and developing students' digital and computational skills.

The School

The school provides a modern learning environment and is committed to preparing students for further education, employment and life beyond school. Technology and digital learning are an important part of the curriculum.

The Role

  • Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver engaging theory and practical lessons.

  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations.

  • Support students in developing programming and computational skills.

  • Contribute to the development of the Computing curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS with a relevant Computer Science or Computing qualification.

  • Strong knowledge of Computer Science.

  • Experience teaching at secondary level.

  • Confident teaching programming and computational concepts.

  • Passionate about technology and education.

Salary

MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
