Wayman Education is seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary academy in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be passionate about Geography and committed to providing students with an engaging and challenging curriculum.

The School

The school is committed to high standards of teaching and learning and provides a supportive environment where teachers are encouraged to develop their practice. Students benefit from a broad curriculum and a range of enrichment opportunities.

The Role

  • Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons.

  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations.

  • Assess and monitor student progress.

  • Contribute to departmental planning and development.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status.

  • Degree in Geography or a closely related subject.

  • Strong subject knowledge.

  • Experience teaching Geography at secondary level.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Salary

MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
