Wayman Education is seeking an energetic and dedicated PE Teacher to join a successful secondary academy in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about developing students through both curriculum PE and extracurricular sport.

The School

The school has high expectations for achievement and behaviour and provides students with a broad range of sporting and enrichment opportunities. Staff benefit from a collaborative environment and strong professional development.

The Role

  • Teach PE across KS3 and KS4.

  • Plan and deliver engaging practical lessons.

  • Support students in developing sporting skills and confidence.

  • Lead or contribute to extracurricular sporting activities.

  • Contribute positively to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate

  • QTS with a relevant PE qualification.

  • Strong knowledge of the secondary PE curriculum.

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management.

  • Passionate about sport and student development.

  • Able to contribute to extracurricular activities.

Salary

MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
